    A tip is to bury a wire with any water/drain lines you bury. You can find them later with a metal detector and even figure out the depth from the signal strength. Also, about 6" above the buried lines, bury a strip of caution tape for the next bloke to find.

      My plumber said somewhere between 18" and 24". I'm probably closer to 24" overall (not 20") but some spots are are more shallow. I think it'll be good. Thanks.

    I was a carpenter for 40+ years but I've never seen windows installed before the framing is finished. They are going to be vulnerable to getting broken while the rest of the framing is being done. Just a little bit of unnecessary risk.

    It has been very interesting watching your progress building your house as i will likely be building my own soon but with a lot more help thankfully. Your deer is very cute and friendly but please stop feeding it as nothing good will come of it for the deer itself. Wild animals should not be fed human food at all and even food we think would be good for them often isn’t. I love you forging style and look to see more after the house is complete.

    Might be easier to use the peevee by aiming the point into the log and let the arm drop around the log. then it is east to remove and the log can't roll onto the peevee.
